Caritas Health Shield is a proud and active emmber of the Association of Health Maintenance Organizations of the Philippines (AHMOPI) since 1995. Our Caritas Health Shield members are assured that our company is a legitimate company that abides by the rules and regulations of the AHMOPI which is a now under the Insurance Commission.
Caritas Health Shield, as of October 1, 2016, is one of the only 9 AHMOPI members. The Unified Service Agreement (USA) between AHMOPI and Caritas Health Shielf Inc. (CHSI) states that all our members can be provided medical attention by all of AHMOPI's acredited physicians. Therefore, our members are guaranteed of the best medical care from different accredited institutions and doctors. AHMOPI-accredited doctors also add to Caritas Health Shield's list of 15,000 accredited partners who can serve the health care needs of our 600,000 CHSI members.
Caritas Health Shield continues to revolutionize the concept of health care services in the Philippines from the date it was first established in 1995. It has over 89 branch offices and is still growing. They guarantee the best customer-friendly medical services from its network of 15,000 all-accredited doctors of medicine in various fields of specialization, 608 dentists, 664 hospitals and clinics, and its very own 33 Clinica Caritas locations nationwide. Caritas serves the health care needs of almost 600,000 CHSI members.
Caritas Health Shield, Inc., the health management specialist, is a Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) company which was established as Health Shield, Inc. in 1995. We are accredited with the Insurance Commission (IC) and we are an active member of the Association of Health Maintenancce Organizations of the Philippines (AHMOPI). We, at Caritas Health Shield, Inc., set high standards to pre-qualify our hired staff. Our medical team is composed of board-certified medical specialists and extensively trained practitioners who are hand-picked for their proven expertise and sincere concern for patients.
